Join us on March 5, 2011 for the Fourth Annual Puzzlethon™!

What is a Puzzlethon™? It is a unique fundraiser created especially for the Connecticut autism community. It is like a walk-a-thon, except participants raise money by doing puzzles.   Puzzlethon ™ is coming!

Why puzzles? The puzzle piece is the symbol of the autism community. Many individuals with autism are good at puzzles. People with autism can enjoy meaningful social interactions doing puzzles with non-autistic individuals. Dowload Puzzlethon Flyer

For 2011, celebrating FIVE years of puzzling fun and fundraising, we anticipate 12 sites all around Connecticut. With so many locations, there’s sure to be one near you. More information will be posted by September, 2010. You can attend at any location you choose!

So, how do you participate?

1. Go to www.puzzlethon.org. There you can create your own fundraising page and solicit donations from your friends, neighbors, family and co-workers online. You can participate as an individual, start your own team or join in a friend’s team. Online instructions are also available for download here.

2. Do you prefer face to face fundraising? Download a pledge form here, use our
sample script, informational flyers about Puzzlethon and ASCONN and start collecting pledges from your friends, neighbors, family and coworkers.

3. Can’t download? Call ASCONN at 888-453-4975 or e-mail us at asconn@sbcglobal.net and request the forms be sent to you. Consider inviting your family and friends to create a team, challenge your kid’s classes to get involved, your boy or girl scout troop, your church or synagogue youth group, the senior citizens who play bridge with your parents. Anyone and everyone can participate.
